Update for the Online Workshop and a nice reminder :)
Hello my friends,
Yes, we are not Friday but I am away tomorrow and I wanted to send this to you while I am still around. I promise this week newsletter will be short: a few updates and someone to follow for great inspiration!
Change on the upcoming workshop!
When I posted my new online workshop last week, I totally forgot something: schedule the perfect moment during the day when most of my community could attend the workshop. I initially did setup time from 9.30AM to 5PM Paris time, forgetting that a large part of people following me are from the US.
When I did my last online workshops, I had people from California up to the other side of the planet in Philippines. And it was possible because I did setup time of the workshop here in the afternoon: from 3PM to 9 or 10PM Paris time.
So maybe you wanted to attend the workshop but did not do it because for you it was in the middle of the night.
Problem solved as the new timing will be from 2.30PM to 9PM Paris time.
If you already registered, I hope the change won’t make much difference for you. And I apologise for people living in a timezone where this timing will still not be good for you. I would say that 85% minimum of people following me here and on social medias are from Europe and North or South America, so I try to please them first.
Thanks for your understanding :)
Use your 10% off discount as subscriber!!
Maybe you forgot about it but as subscriber of my newsletter you have a LIFETIME (haha) 10% coupon code to use on my shop. Whenever and for whatever you want and many times if you want. And you can use it for the workshop too. here is the code again: NEWSLETTER10.
I hope to see you there on 1st of June for a fun day of sketching and drawing letters :)
You need to follow that guy!
I found out of Andrew Hudson maybe one year ago, and since I can’t stop to follow his adventures in illustration, animation and lettering. His work is so powerful and diverse. He has a great identity and that is where the border for me between Art and Design is thin or even mixed.
He can paint, draw, cut paper, use Procreate for animations and illustrations, and everything is coherent and professional. This is the kind of work we need to see more around us. The sick society we live in needs more of this.
Here is Andrew’s Instagram account, and check below some of my favourite work of his. I post pictures directly here but if you see an Instagram embeds, don’t hesitate to click on them because it means these are animations :)
And some animations :)
This is it for this week! Enjoy Easter, we have 4 days off here so I hope weather will be nice :)
Take care,
Francis
